Can I control visitor access to my loved one’s Memorial Website?
Yes, as the host of a Memorial Website by Legacy.com, you can control who is able
to view your site. Share your loved one's legacy by setting their site up as public
(available for anyone to see), or opt to keep your Memorial Website private by choosing
select friends and family to receive personalized invitations to view your Memorial
Website.
How do I edit or update my site content?
If you are the Host of a Memorial Website, you are able to control all of your site
content as well as approve content submitted by visitors by logging into your Legacy.com
Memorial Website account through any internet connection.
How do I update my host profile?
You will be provided an account login to access your profile. You can update your
host information at any time from the site settings section of your Memorial Website
Dashboard.

You will be provided an account login to access your site settings. You can update

You can change the email address and password for your Legacy.com Memorial Website

Legacy.com understands the impact music can have with the memories of a loved one.
Background music
We currently offer a general selection of pre-approved music that Hosts can select
to play as background music on their loved one's site.
Audio Upload
Legacy.com is working closely with the major music labels to offer you the option
of uploading approved copyright-protected music for free.
Site Pricing/Sponsorship:
How much does creating a Legacy.com Memorial Website cost?
Creating a Memorial Website is free. Your Memorial Website will be available online
at no charge to you for a 14 day trial period. Sponsoring your site will prevent
it from being archived at the completion of the trial period.
How much does a Legacy.com Memorial Website sponsorship cost?

Will I be charged any additional fees beyond the site sponsorship to maintain a

Legacy.com does not charge any additional hosting, storage or other fees for maintaining
a Memorial Website.
Is there a permanent sponsorship option?
At this time, no permanent sponsorship option is available.
Who can sponsor a Legacy.com Memorial Website?
Any site visitor or host may sponsor a Memorial Website.
If a visitor sponsors my Legacy.com Memorial Website will they then have permission
to manage my site?
If a visitor other than the site host sponsors a site, the host permissions will
not be affected. The host will still maintain control of all content on their Memorial
Website.
If I sponsor a Memorial Website when will it be available online?
Once your payment authorization has been completed your site will be available.
Will I be notified when my sponsorship is about to end?
Yes. Current site sponsors and site hosts will be notified via email 30 days prior
to the completion of a site sponsorship.
Can I sponsor a Legacy.com Memorial Website if it has already been archived?
Yes. Memorial Websites that have been archived are still available for sponsorship
and re-activation. If an archived Memorial Website is sponsored, it will once again
be active for the duration of the sponsorship.
How can I tell if someone else has sponsored a Memorial Website?
All sponsorships are processed as soon as they are received. Once a Memorial Website
has been sponsored, you will no longer see a link on the site that says "Sponsor
this Memorial Website".
When an annual sponsorship is complete can a Memorial Website be sponsored again?
Yes. Thirty (30) days before the one-year sponsorship expires, you will see a new
link on the Memorial Website that will allow you to renew the site sponsorship.
If you do not see this link at that time, it may mean that someone has already purchased
a new sponsorship.

We guarantee that every transaction you make with Legacy.com will be subject to

card number, so it cannot be read as it travels over the Internet. Only Legacy.com
can read your personal information.
